    SAFE T PLUS Warranty

    Our team is committed to producing the highest quality steering control products for our customers. In the event that something is wrong with your Safe T Plus Steering Control product(s), we will work hard and fast to make it right for you.

    LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY for Recreational Vehicles (CLASS, A, B, C, AND TOWABLE VEHICLES)

    Safe T Plus Steering Control products installed on any recreation vehicle (class A, B, C and towable vehicles), including mounting bracket hardware, U-bolt and bolt kits (collectively, the “Recreational Products”), carry a limited lifetime warranty (only for such products purchased after January 1, 2009) against defects in material and workmanship, when used under normal operating conditions for as long as the original purchaser of the Recreational Product owns the vehicle on which the Recreational Product was originally installed (the “Limited Lifetime Warranty”). This Limited Lifetime Warranty is non-transferable and is void upon sale or transfer of the vehicle the Recreational Product was originally installed on by the original purchaser of the Recreational Product. The Limited Lifetime Warranty is subject to the limitations and disclaimers below.

    WARRANTY for Trucks, Buses, Commercial, Fleet, Industrial, and Governmental Vehicles

    Safe T Plus Steering Control products installed on any truck, bus, commercial, fleet, industrial, or governmental vehicles, including mounting bracket hardware, U-bolt and bolt kits (the “Commercial Products”), carry a 5 Year limited warranty (only for such products purchased after January 1, 2009) against defects in material and workmanship, when used under normal operating conditions as long as the original purchaser of the Commercial Product owns the vehicle on which the Commercial Product was originally installed (the “5-Year Limited Warranty”). The 5-Year Lifetime Warranty is non-transferable and is void upon sale or transfer of the vehicle the Commercial Product was originally installed on by the original purchaser of the Commercial Product. The Limited Lifetime Warranty is subject to the limitations and disclaimers below.

    WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

    Collectively, the Limited Lifetime Warranty and the 5-Year Limited Warranty shall be referred to as the “Warranty”.  Collectively, the Recreational Products and the Commercial Products shall be referred to as theProducts”.  This Warranty has no cash value. STOP and Call us first if you have any issue with your products. Any and all expenses incurred associated with repairing, removing, or replacing Safe T Plus will be your sole responsibilityCall the factory first so our technical support team can assist you with solving any issues before you incur expenses. Safe T Plus will only reimburse expenses it authorizes prior to any work completed at a selected service center it chooses.  Should Safe T Plus authorize any service or repair work, it will coordinate the service with you and the approved service center that works best to your schedule.  If, however, you elect to have any repair or service work performed without Safe T Plus authorization, you will be solely responsible for such expenses.

    This Warranty does not apply to, will not cover, and Safe T Plus makes no warranty related to:

    • Any costs, including costs of removal, installation, road test and adjustment time, diagnostic time, and any other expenses arising out of replacing the Product under Warranty.
    • Any costs associated with diagnosis, repair or replacement of other vehicle parts, chassis and steering parts, tires, etc. unrelated to product,,
    • Any Product that was modified, misused, altered or installed improperly (except if install by at Safe T Plus’ factory in Tallapoosa, Georgia, or by a Safe T Plus factory personnel), in any way so as, in Safe T Plus’ sole judgment, to affect its stability, functionality, or longevity of such Product,
    • Product that is new, unused or show signs of normal wear and tear, but not defective, in Safe T Plus’ sole judgment,
    • Product that is damaged, bent, broken, impacted, which was caused by a vehicle accident or other impact force to unit (i.e. deep drop, pot hole, etc.),
    • Product damaged in any accident, fire, floor, rain, hail, weather, or any other force majeure event or hazard,
    • Product installed with any non-genuine Safe T Plus Steering Control factory parts, bolts, and/or accessories,
    • Product discontinued by Safe T Plus,
    • Product not owned by original purchaser
    • Product transferred by the original owner to a new/used coach they have purchased, must be installed with the appropriate mounting hardware kit for the chassis of the newly acquired coach
    • Product installed on a vehicle that has been modified outside the specifications of the vehicle’s original equipment manufacturer, including but not limited to aftermarket modifications for racing, off-road, or powersports purposes,
    • Customer travel expenses (i.e. service, lodging, food, fuel, etc.) associated with warranty repair of a Product,
    • Other costs (including damages and incidental costs) from dealers, service centers, retail outlets, other third parties, or related mechanics, associated with installing, removing, reinstalling, road testing, and/or centering of replacement or returned Products that are sent for warranty repair,
    • Any other component related to a vehicle’s steering assembly, front end suspension, tires, other after-market or chassis/vehicle installed products, or chassis,
    • Product installed on incorrect vehicle application not specified on Safe T Plus fit list,
    • Product that is exported outside United States or Canada,
    • Products purchased through unauthorized retailers/dealers/individuals including unauthorized online seller (A list of authorized retailers/dealers can be found on our website under ‘Where to Buy’), and
    • Products purchased through auction sites, marketplaces, private or third-party sales, or other unauthorized online retailers.

    ADDITIONAL WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMERS

    If this Warranty applies, Safe T Plus will repair or replace the Product covered under the Warranty that is deemed defective. Any and all costs to remove the Product, ship the product to Safe T Plus, and costs, after warranty repair, to re-install, road test, and/or center such Products, will be at your sole cost and expense through direct arrangement with the point-of-sale dealership, service center, online reseller, or other third-party entity. Safe T Plus reserves the right to change or modify any of its parts or products without assuming obligation to modify any previously manufactured part or products. You are solely responsible to ensure your Product is centered and aligned properly at all times. Safe T Plus does not accept Product returns.

    LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

    THE MAXIMUM LIABILITY OF SAFE T PLUS UNDER THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ACTUAL PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAFE T PLUS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

    EXCLUSIVE REMEDY

    TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAFE T PLUS SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
    How To Obtain Safe T Plus Warranty

    WARRANTY RETURN INFORMATION

    Safe T Plus products considered for the Warranty must be returned directly to Safe T Plus in Tallapoosa, Georgia, in the original box or adequately secured cardboard boxing, freight prepaid by customer.  A copy of customer’s name, return shipping address, contact information (phone, email) and the Return Material Authorization (RMA#) must be included with the product. Warranty replacement units or mounting brackets, bolt kits will be returned to customer at Safe T Plus’ expense (freight prepaid for return).

    ACCIDENT INFORMATION

    In the event of a vehicle accident with a Product installed on a vehicle, please remove the Product and all associated mounting brackets, bolt kits. We want to ensure your Product was not damaged and are properly functioning after any type of accident.

    Ship your return product (must include the RMA# you are provided) to:

    We recommend keeping a copy of your tracking number for your records. Once the return Product is received at our factory, please allow 7-10 days to process your warranty claim and ship out your warranty replacement Product(s).   All warranty replacement Products will be shipped out by regular Ground Shipping Service at manufacturer’s costs.   If, however, you need replacement Products expedited quicker than regular Ground Shipping Service, return expedited shipping costs will be at your expense and non-refundable.
